Do Philippines passport holders need a visa to visit Brazil?

Philippine ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Brazil. You may enter visa-free and stay up to 90 days. As of 30 May 2026, holders of an ordinary Philippine passport are visa-exempt for tourism, business meetings, family visits and transit in Brazil. Entry is granted for up to 90 days, extendable once by a further 90 days at a Federal Police (Polícia Federal) office, with the combined stay not exceeding 180 days within any 12-month period. The exemption rests on a long-standing reciprocal arrangement between Brazil and the Philippines. Importantly, the Brazilian e-Visa that returned in 2025-2026 applies to nationals of the United States, Canada, Australia, India and China (and a number of other previously exempt markets) — it does NOT apply to the Philippines, which remains visa-free. No e-Visa, visa-on-arrival or pre-registration is required. Travelers should carry a passport valid for the duration of stay, proof of onward/return travel, proof of sufficient funds and accommodation details, as immigration officers may request them.
