🇵🇭Philippines🇦🇴AngolaPH-AO Philippines to Angola visa requirements
Philippine ordinary passport holders can enter Angola visa-free for tourism for up to 30 days per visit. No visa or eVisa is needed before travel. As of 1 June 2026, holders of an ordinary Philippine passport do NOT need a visa to enter Angola for tourism or short business visits. Angola added the Philippines to its visa-exemption list in October 2025, building on the broad tourist visa-waiver program introduced by Presidential Decree 189/23 (September 2023). The Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed the arrangement after the Angolan Embassy in Manila notified it of visa-free entry for Filipino tourists. Under this program, Filipinos may enter visa-free for up to 30 days per visit, with a maximum of three visa-free entries per calendar year. No fee and no advance application (no eVisa) are required for visits within these limits. Note that several commercial visa-agency websites still describe an eVisa requirement for Filipinos; this is outdated for short tourist stays following the 2025 exemption. The passport must be valid at least six months with two blank pages. Critically, Angola requires a valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate (administered at least 10 days before arrival) for essentially all travelers aged 9 months and over, regardless of where they are arriving from. Immigration officers may also ask for proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds. Travelers needing to stay longer than 30 days, exceeding three entries per year, or traveling for work/offshore activities must obtain the appropriate visa (eVisa or consular visa) in advance.
