New Zealand to Ireland visa requirements

No visa needed. New Zealand passport holders can visit Ireland visa-free for up to 90 days (3 months). No ETA or ETIAS is required. New Zealand ordinary passport holders are non-visa-required nationals for Ireland and can enter for tourism or a short visit without any visa or pre-travel authorisation. Ireland is NOT part of the Schengen Area and operates its own immigration system, so the EU ETIAS scheme does not apply to entry to Ireland; there is also no Irish ETA for visa-exempt travellers. On arrival an immigration officer normally grants permission to stay for up to 3 months (90 days). You must satisfy the officer that your visit is genuine and short-term: carry a passport valid for the duration of your stay (ideally several months beyond), proof of onward/return travel, evidence of sufficient funds, and details of accommodation. You cannot work on this visa-free entry; longer stays, study, or employment require the appropriate Irish immigration permission.
