New Zealand to United Arab Emirates visa requirements

New Zealand ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa in advance for short tourist trips to the UAE. On arrival you receive a free 90-day multiple-entry visa-on-arrival stamp, valid for a total stay of 90 days within 180 days from the date of issue. New Zealand ordinary passport holders enjoy visa-free entry to the UAE for tourism. No advance visa, eVisa or pre-approval is required. On arrival at any UAE airport, immigration issues a free visa-on-arrival stamp granting a multiple-entry stay of up to 90 days, valid within 180 days of issue. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry. You may be asked for a return/onward ticket and proof of accommodation. The 90-day stay can usually be extended once for an additional 30 days for a fee through the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) or a typing centre, without leaving the country. Overstaying triggers daily fines, so track your departure date carefully. This applies to ordinary (regular) passports for tourism, visit and transit; work or long-stay residence requires a separate sponsored visa.
