Netherlands to Zimbabwe visa requirements

Dutch passport holders can get a Zimbabwe visa on arrival for tourism. The Netherlands is a Category B country, so no visa is needed before travel; you pay and obtain a single-entry tourist visa (US$30) at any port of entry. You may also pre-apply online for an eVisa if you prefer certainty before flying. The Netherlands is classified by the Zimbabwe Department of Immigration as a Category B country. This means Dutch ordinary passport holders are not required to arrange a visa before travelling; instead they pay for and obtain a visa on arrival at any Zimbabwean port of entry (airports such as Robert Gabriel Mugabe International in Harare and Victoria Falls, plus land borders). The standard tourist visa is single entry for US$30, valid for one month and granting a stay of up to 30 days, payable in cash USD on arrival. A double entry visa is US$45 and a multiple entry visa is US$55. As an alternative to queuing on arrival, Dutch travellers can pre-apply through the official Zimbabwe eVisa portal (evisa.gov.zw) at the same fee level, with processing typically around 7 working days; the government recommends applying at least three weeks ahead. Travellers crossing between Zimbabwe and Zambia (and day trips to Botswana via Kazungula) may instead buy the KAZA Univisa for US$50, valid 30 days. Some third-party sites reference an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) for Europeans from April 2025, but this is not reflected on the official Zimbabwe immigration or eVisa portals, which continue to describe the visa-on-arrival / eVisa system for Category B nationals; the visa-on-arrival channel remains the authoritative route. Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond entry and have at least two blank pages.
