Netherlands to Zambia visa requirements

Netherlands ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Zambia. The Netherlands is on Zambia's official visa-exempt list; you receive a free entry stamp on arrival valid for tourist stays of up to 90 days within a one-year period. As of June 2026, Dutch (NL) ordinary passport holders enjoy visa-free entry to Zambia for tourism. The Netherlands appears on the Zambia Department of Immigration's official list of nationals who do not require a visa, and Zambia's broader 2025 liberalisation (waiving visas for an additional 53 countries from 1 January 2025) has cemented an open-access policy for most Western travellers. On arrival a Dutch tourist is issued a free entry stamp permitting a single-entry stay of up to 30 days, extendable twice (30 days each) up to a maximum cumulative stay of 90 days per year. No eVisa, ETA or pre-arrival online registration is required for Dutch nationals; an eVisa system exists only for nationals who still require a visa. Entry conditions are a passport valid at least 6 months with blank pages, a confirmed return/onward air ticket (mandatory when arriving by air), proof of sufficient funds, and proof of accommodation. Zambia is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Travellers transiting via certain airports should also note yellow fever certificate requirements depending on their itinerary.
