Netherlands to Venezuela visa requirements

Netherlands ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Venezuela. You may stay up to 90 days (extendable once for a further 90 days). You must show an onward/return ticket and proof of accommodation on arrival. As of 2026, Dutch citizens holding an ordinary passport can enter Venezuela visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days, as all EU member states are on Venezuela's visa-exemption list. The stay can be extended once for an equal period (up to 180 days total) through the immigration authority (SAIME). No visa, eVisa or visa-on-arrival is required for a short tourist visit. On arrival, travelers must present a passport valid for at least six months with at least one blank page, an onward or return ticket, proof of booked accommodation, and evidence of sufficient funds. Note Venezuela is NOT in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route - ETIAS is something Venezuelan citizens will need for Europe, not the reverse. Important practical caution: Venezuela carries a high-risk travel advisory from many Western governments due to crime, political instability and limited consular support; entry is also not possible via Aruba, Curacao or Bonaire. Dual Dutch-Venezuelan nationals must enter and exit on their Venezuelan passport.
