Netherlands to Tajikistan visa requirements

No visa needed. Dutch (Netherlands) ordinary passport holders can enter Tajikistan visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism under Tajikistan's unilateral visa-free regime (in force for EU citizens since 1 January 2022). Netherlands is an EU member state, and Tajikistan grants EU citizens unilateral visa-free entry for stays of up to 30 days for any purpose, including tourism. This regime was introduced by Government of Tajikistan Decree No. 464 of 26 October 2021 (effective 1 January 2022) and the eligible-country list has since been expanded. A Dutch traveler simply needs a passport valid for at least six months with two blank pages and proof of onward travel; no advance application is required to arrive and stay up to 30 days. One important obligation: if the total stay reaches 10 days or more, the traveler must register with the local OVIR (Visa and Registration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs) within 10 days of arrival (fee about 175 TJS for stays up to 3 months). If you plan to visit the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO / the Pamirs), a separate GBAO permit is required in advance. For trips longer than 30 days (up to 60 days), a single-entry tourist e-Visa is available from the official portal evisa.tj for USD 30; e-Visa holders are exempt from OVIR registration. Tajikistan is not in the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply.
