Netherlands to eSwatini visa requirements

Netherlands passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourist trips to eSwatini. You can enter visa-free and stay up to 30 days, extendable once at the Ministry of Home Affairs. As a Dutch ordinary passport holder, you can travel to the Kingdom of eSwatini (formerly Swaziland) for tourism without any visa. The Netherlands is among the EU member states whose citizens are granted visa-free entry of up to 30 days. No advance application, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival is required - you simply receive an entry stamp at the border or airport (King Mswati III International Airport / land borders with South Africa and Mozambique). To enter smoothly, carry a passport valid for at least three months (ideally six) beyond your departure date with at least one blank page, proof of onward or return travel, and evidence of sufficient funds (border officers commonly cite around USD 50 per day). A yellow fever certificate is only required if you are arriving from or have transited a yellow-fever-endemic country. The 30-day stay can be extended by a further 30 days by applying at the Ministry of Home Affairs in Mbabane before your permitted stay expires; stays beyond 60 days require a Temporary Residence Permit. eSwatini is in Southern Africa and is not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply to this trip.
