Netherlands to Qatar visa requirements

Dutch ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Qatar. As EU citizens, they receive a free visa-waiver stamp on arrival allowing up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Netherlands ordinary passport holders enjoy visa-free entry to Qatar under Qatar's visa-waiver (visa exemption) program. Because the Netherlands is an EU member state, Dutch travelers fall into Qatar's most generous tier: a free entry permit is issued on arrival at Hamad International Airport, valid for up to 90 days within any 180-day period (this is significantly longer than the 30-day tier granted to many other nationalities). No advance application, eVisa, or fee is required for the standard tourist stay. At the immigration counter, travelers present a passport valid for at least six months from the date of arrival, and should be able to show a confirmed onward/return ticket and proof of accommodation if asked. The 90-day allowance generally cannot be extended; once the 90 days within the 180-day window are used, the traveler must leave Qatar. Travelers who prefer certainty can optionally pre-register via the Hayya platform, but this is not required for ordinary tourism. Note: Qatar is in the Middle East and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so ETIAS and the Schengen 90/180 rule do not apply to entering Qatar (those apply only when EU/Schengen rules govern, e.g. Dutch citizens are not affected by ETIAS in their own region).
