Netherlands to Panama visa requirements

Netherlands (ordinary) passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Panama. You may enter visa-free and stay up to 90 days. You only need a valid passport plus standard proof of onward travel and funds. Panama grants visa-free entry to citizens of all European Union member states, including the Netherlands, for tourism and short visits. Dutch ordinary passport holders receive an entry stamp on arrival and may stay for a maximum of 90 days per entry. No advance visa, eVisa, or electronic travel authorization is required. (Note: only US and Canadian citizens receive the longer 180-day exemption; EU nationals are capped at 90 days.) On arrival, Panamanian immigration may ask for a passport valid at least 3 months (the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends 6 months and at least one blank page), proof of onward or return travel, evidence of economic solvency (around US$500), and the address of your accommodation. Panama is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to entering Panama. Confirmed against the Wikipedia visa policy of Panama, Panama's official tourism authority, and the Dutch government travel advice (NederlandWereldwijd), all current as of mid-2026.
