🇳🇱Netherlands🇰🇬KyrgyzstanNL-KG Netherlands to Kyrgyzstan visa requirements
Netherlands ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Kyrgyzstan. You may enter visa-free for up to 30 days within any 60-day period. As of 30 May 2026, Dutch citizens holding an ordinary passport can travel to Kyrgyzstan visa-free for tourism. No visa, e-visa, or pre-registration is required for short stays. Important recent change: under Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 855, effective 31 December 2025, the visa-free allowance for nationals of 55 countries (including the Netherlands and all EU states) was shortened from the previous 60 days per 120-day period to a maximum cumulative 30 calendar days within any 60-day period, counted from the date of first entry. Travelers simply present a passport valid for at least the duration of stay (six months recommended) at any open border crossing or airport and receive an entry stamp. Kyrgyzstan is NOT in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route. If you need to stay longer than 30 days, apply for the official Kyrgyz e-visa (30 or 60-day tourist e-visa) at evisa.e-gov.kg before travel, or obtain a residence document locally. Keep your entry stamp safe; overstaying can result in fines.
