Netherlands to Cameroon visa requirements

Yes. Dutch ordinary passport holders need a visa for Cameroon. There is no visa-free or visa-on-arrival channel. You must apply online before travel through the official eVisa portal (evisacam.cm); your file is then examined by the Cameroon Embassy in The Hague. A Netherlands ordinary passport holder requires a visa to enter Cameroon for tourism. Since 30 April 2023, all entry visas must be applied for online through the Government of Cameroon's official portal at evisacam.cm; paper applications submitted outside the platform are not accepted. After online pre-enrolment, document upload and online payment, the file is reviewed by the Cameroon Embassy in The Hague (which has jurisdiction over the Netherlands). Approved applicants either collect a visa sticker in person at the embassy or receive an electronic visa authorization with a QR code to receive the sticker at a Cameroonian port of entry. There is no genuine visa-on-arrival: you may not board or enter without either a visa sticker or an approved online authorization/QR code. For tourism the correct category is the Short Stay Visa (valid up to 6 months), as there is no Long Stay Tourist visa. A valid yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory, and proof of round-trip travel, accommodation and sufficient funds is required. Cameroon is in Central Africa and is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Passport must be valid at least 6 months beyond the travel date. Standard official processing is about 3 business days, with a 24-hour express option.
