Netherlands to Armenia visa requirements

No visa required. Netherlands ordinary passport holders can enter Armenia visa-free for tourism and short visits, staying up to 180 days within any one-year period. As an EU member state, the Netherlands benefits from Armenia's unilateral visa exemption. Dutch ordinary passport holders may enter Armenia without any visa, e-visa, or visa-on-arrival for tourism, business, or transit, and may stay for up to 180 days during any one-year period. No application, fee, or pre-registration is needed before travel. You simply present a valid passport at the border. Armenia is NOT part of the Schengen area and is not in the EU, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to entering Armenia; instead Armenia applies its own generous 180-day visa-free allowance. Border officials may occasionally ask to see proof of onward travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds, so it is wise to carry these. The passport should be valid for the duration of the intended stay; many sources recommend at least six months' validity and two blank pages as a precaution. This visa-free status is long-standing and stable; the e-visa portal exists only for nationalities that are not exempt and is not needed by Dutch travelers.
