Malaysia to Namibia visa requirements

Malaysian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Namibia. They may enter visa-free and stay up to 90 days. Malaysia is on Namibia's list of visa-exempt countries, so a Malaysian ordinary passport holder can travel to Namibia for tourism or short visits without any visa and stay up to 90 days. This was confirmed by the official Visit Namibia portal and the High Commission of Malaysia in Windhoek. Importantly, the major visa-policy change Namibia introduced on 1 April 2025 — which ended visa-free entry for 33 nationalities (including the US, UK, Germany, France, Canada and Australia, now subject to a paid visa-on-arrival of NAD 1,600) — did NOT affect Malaysia, which retained its exemption. On arrival, travellers should hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay with two or more blank pages, proof of onward/return travel, and evidence of sufficient funds and accommodation. The immigration officer grants the stay duration as a stamp at the port of entry; the 90-day allowance is for the calendar year and is at the officer's discretion. No application, fee, or pre-registration is required for Malaysians for a short tourist stay.
