Malaysia to Morocco visa requirements

Malaysian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for Morocco. You may enter visa-free and stay up to 90 days for tourism or short visits. Malaysia and Morocco have a mutual visa-exemption arrangement, so holders of an ordinary Malaysian passport can travel to Morocco for tourism or short visits without a visa for stays of up to 90 days. There is no visa fee, no eVisa, and no visa-on-arrival process to complete — you simply present a valid passport on arrival along with proof of onward travel and, where requested, accommodation and sufficient funds. Morocco is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply; the 90-day allowance is specific to Morocco. Morocco operates an electronic travel authorization (AEVM/AEVM) for certain nationalities, but as of mid-2026 it does NOT apply to Malaysian citizens, who continue to enjoy straightforward visa-free entry. Travelers should carry a passport valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay, a confirmed return or onward ticket, and proof of where they will be staying. For stays longer than 90 days, an extension or residence permit must be requested locally from Moroccan authorities.
