Malaysia to Lebanon visa requirements

Malaysian ordinary passport holders can enter Lebanon with a free visa on arrival for tourism, valid for 1 month and extendable up to 3 months. As of 2026, holders of an ordinary Malaysian passport do NOT need to arrange a visa in advance for a short tourist visit to Lebanon. According to the Lebanese General Directorate of General Security, Malaysia is among the countries whose ordinary passport holders are granted a cost-free visa on arrival at Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport and other official ports of entry. The visa is initially valid for one month and can be extended to a total of three months at a General Security office inside Lebanon. There is no fee for the on-arrival stamp. Lebanon is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Entry is conditional: the passport must be valid (at least 6 months recommended) with blank pages, the traveller must present a confirmed return/onward ticket, proof of a Lebanese address (hotel booking) and a contact number, and must have sufficient funds. Critically, Lebanon strictly refuses entry to anyone whose passport contains any Israeli stamp, visa, or seal, or evidence of travel to Israel — such travellers will be denied entry and may face detention. Travellers should also review their home government's travel advisory, as Lebanon's security situation can change rapidly.
