Malaysia to Cameroon visa requirements

Malaysian ordinary passport holders need a Cameroon eVisa before travel. Apply online at the official portal evisacam.cm; visa on arrival is not available, and a yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory. As of June 2026, Malaysia is not on Cameroon's short visa-exemption list (which covers mainly neighboring CEMAC/regional states such as Nigeria, Chad, CAR and the Republic of Congo). Malaysian ordinary passport holders therefore require a visa for tourism. Since the Cameroonian government moved its visa system fully online (effective 30 April 2023), all entry visas must be applied for through the official portal at evisacam.cm. There is no traditional visa on arrival: even travelers from countries without a Cameroonian mission must register/apply online and have the approved eVisa printed at the airport or border post before entry. For a short tourist trip, a single-entry short-stay eVisa is the correct channel. The government quotes EUR-denominated fees on its consular network: short-stay normal (1-180 days) around EUR 153 and express (24-hour) around EUR 229; standard processing is completed within 72 hours of payment. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is a mandatory health requirement for entry. Apply at least 10 days before departure, but not more than 6 months ahead.
