Mexico to South Sudan visa requirements

Mexican passport holders need a visa for South Sudan and should obtain an eVisa online before travel via the official portal evisa.gov.ss. Mexico is not on South Sudan's visa-exempt list. A Mexico ordinary passport holder cannot enter South Sudan visa-free. South Sudan requires a visa for almost all foreign nationals, including Mexicans, for tourism or short visits. The recommended route is the official electronic visa (eVisa) issued by the Directorate of Nationality, Passports and Immigration under the Ministry of Interior, applied for online at evisa.gov.ss. The standard tourist eVisa is a single-entry visa valid for 90 days from issue and permitting a stay of up to 90 days, with a typical government fee around USD 100. Applicants must hold a passport valid at least six months with a blank page, supply a passport bio-data scan and photo, a return ticket, and proof of accommodation. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for entry. Processing is generally a few business days (the portal advertises issuance within about 72 hours), but travelers should apply at least two weeks ahead. Multiple-entry visas (valid up to 180 days) can be arranged through a South Sudanese embassy or consulate. South Sudan is not in the Schengen area, so Schengen and ETIAS rules do not apply.
