Do Mexico passport holders need a visa to visit NO?

Mexican ordinary passport holders can visit Norway visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. No visa or ETIAS is required as of 30 May 2026. Norway is part of the Schengen Area, and Mexico has a visa-exemption agreement with the Schengen states. As an ordinary Mexican passport holder, you may enter Norway for tourism, business, or family visits without a visa for up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period. Your passport must be valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure from the Schengen Area and have been issued within the previous 10 years. At the border you may be asked to show proof of sufficient funds, a return or onward ticket, accommodation, and travel insurance. Since the EU Entry/Exit System (EES) is now operational, your fingerprints and facial image will be recorded on first entry. ETIAS (a €20 online travel authorisation, not a visa) is expected to launch in Q4 2026 with a transitional grace period; once mandatory, visa-free travelers such as Mexicans will need it, but as of 30 May 2026 it is not yet required. The 90-day limit is counted across the whole Schengen Area, not Norway alone.
