Mexico to Moldova visa requirements

Mexican ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Moldova. You can enter visa-free and stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Mexico is on Moldova's visa-exemption list, so Mexican citizens holding an ordinary passport may enter Moldova visa-free for tourism, business or family visits for up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period. No prior application, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival is required for these short stays. Moldova is not a member of the Schengen Area or the European Union (it is an EU candidate country), so the Schengen 90/180 rule and the EU ETIAS authorization do NOT apply to travel to Moldova. Your passport should be valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended departure date. At the border, expect to show a passport, possibly proof of onward/return travel, accommodation details and sufficient funds. The visa-free window does not permit paid employment; for work, study, or stays beyond 90/180 you must obtain the appropriate visa or residence permit through Moldova's Bureau for Migration and Asylum. Border officers retain final discretion to admit or refuse entry.
