Do Mexico passport holders need a visa to visit CH?

No. Mexican ordinary passport holders can enter Switzerland visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. Switzerland is part of the Schengen Area, and Mexico is on the Schengen visa-exempt list. Holders of an ordinary Mexican passport do not need a visa for short tourist stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day rolling period. You enter on your valid passport; no application or fee is required before travel. From late 2026 (planned Q4 2026, mandatory from April 2027), Mexican travelers will additionally need an approved ETIAS travel authorization (a quick online waiver, not a visa) before boarding to the Schengen Area — but as of 30 May 2026 ETIAS is not yet operational, so no ETIAS is currently required. Border officers can ask for proof of accommodation, onward/return travel, and sufficient funds.
