Mexico to Belize visa requirements

No visa required. Mexican ordinary passport holders can enter Belize visa-free for tourism for up to 30 days, with a visitor's permit stamped on arrival. Mexico is on Belize's visa-exempt list. Holders of an ordinary Mexican passport do not need a visa for a short tourist visit and receive a free Visitor's Permit on arrival at the airport or land border, valid for up to 30 days. The passport should be valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay and have at least two blank pages. Travelers must show proof of onward or return travel and sufficient funds. The stay can be extended in 30-day increments at an Immigration Department office for BZ$200 per extension. While entry itself is free, travelers departing by land into Mexico pay a border exit fee of about BZ$40, and those flying out pay an airport departure tax (usually bundled into the air ticket). Belize is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
