Maltese passport holders can enter China visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism, business, family visits, or transit. Malta was added to China's unilateral visa-free list on 30 November 2024 alongside Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.
