🇱🇮Liechtenstein🇨🇳ChinaLI-CN Liechtenstein to China visa requirements
Visa-free 30 days for Liechtenstein tourists. China extended unilateral policy through 31 Dec 2026. Liechtenstein passport holders can enter China visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism, business, family visits, or transit. Liechtenstein was added to China's unilateral visa-free list on 8 November 2024 alongside Slovakia, Nordic countries, Andorra, and Monaco. China extended the policy through 31 December 2026 (announced August 2025), so Liechtenstein citizens enjoy stable, no-application access. Without an airport in Liechtenstein, most travellers transit through Zurich, then fly via Zurich, Frankfurt, or Munich to reach China. Travel must be for short-term purposes — work, study, journalism, and stays over 30 days still require a regular visa from the Chinese embassy in Bern (which covers Liechtenstein). For longer or other purposes, regular China visa fees are CHF 116 (single entry) or CHF 232 (multi-entry).
