South Korea to Zambia visa requirements

South Korean ordinary passport holders can enter Zambia visa-free for tourism. No visa or eVisa is needed in advance. As of June 2026, South Korea is on Zambia's visa-exempt list, so a South Korean ordinary passport holder may travel to Zambia for tourism without obtaining a visa beforehand or on arrival. Visa-free visitors are admitted as tourists for stays of up to 90 days within a 12-month period; in practice immigration officers typically grant a 30-day entry stamp on arrival, which can be extended at a Zambia Department of Immigration office (up to two 30-day extensions, to the 90-day annual cap). Zambia broadened its visa-waiver list in late 2024 (waiving requirements for an additional 53 nationalities effective 1 January 2025), but South Korea was already visa-exempt before that change, so the visa-free channel is well established. Travelers should carry a passport valid for the duration of stay (at least about 4-6 months recommended), proof of onward/return travel, and evidence of accommodation and sufficient funds, as these may be checked at the port of entry. A Zambia eVisa (around US$50, single entry) remains available as an optional alternative but is not required for Korean tourists. Note Zambia is in Southern Africa and is not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply.
