South Korea to Saudi Arabia visa requirements

South Korean ordinary passport holders need a visa for Saudi Arabia, but can obtain it quickly online through the Saudi tourist eVisa. South Korea is one of the ~60 eVisa-eligible nationalities. The eVisa is multiple-entry, valid for one year, and allows stays of up to 90 days per visit. A visa on arrival is also available at major Saudi airports for the same eligible nationals. South Korea is not visa-exempt for Saudi Arabia, so a Korean tourist needs a visa. The standard tourist eVisa is a multiple-entry visa valid for one year from issue, permitting stays of up to 90 days per visit (up to 180 days total per year). The all-inclusive online fee is roughly SAR 535 (covering the visa fee, mandatory health insurance and VAT/platform charges), and approval is typically issued within minutes to a few business days. Eligible nationals, including Koreans, may alternatively obtain a visa on arrival at major airports (Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam) for about SAR 480, though the eVisa is recommended to avoid airport queues and the risk of denied boarding. The tourist visa permits tourism, leisure, family visits, attendance at events and Umrah (excluding the Hajj season), but not paid work. A passport valid for at least six months is required.
