South Korea to Namibia visa requirements

South Korean ordinary passport holders need a visa for Namibia. A tourist visa on arrival is available at major airports and border posts (and an e-Visa online), allowing a stay of up to 90 days. The fee is N$1,600 (about US$90), with an extra N$400 service fee if applied manually at the counter. Applying for the e-Visa in advance is recommended. As of mid-2026, South Korea (KR) ordinary passport holders are NOT visa-exempt for Namibia and must obtain a visa. Namibia operates a Visa on Arrival (VOA) scheme at its main ports of entry, and South Korea is on the eligible list, so Korean tourists can obtain a VOA for a short stay of up to 90 days. Crucially, South Korea was NOT among the 33 nationalities (mostly Western/European countries, plus Japan) that lost visa-free entry under the reciprocity-driven policy that took effect on 1 April 2025; Korea has consistently held VOA eligibility. The visa fee is N$1,600 (roughly US$90) for non-African Union travelers (N$1,200 for African Union nationals). Since 1 April 2025, an online e-Visa is also offered via the Ministry of Home Affairs portal (eservices.mhaiss.gov.na), and applying online before travel is strongly recommended to avoid queues and a manual-counter service surcharge of about N$400 (~US$23). Travelers need a passport valid at least six months with at least three blank pages, proof of onward/return travel, and proof of accommodation/funds. Namibia is in southern Africa and has no connection to the Schengen area or ETIAS. Conservatively, because there is no confirmed visa-free channel for Korean ordinary passports, the requirement is best classified as visa on arrival / e-Visa.
