🇰🇷SOUTH KOREA🇲🇽MEXICOKR-MX Do South Korea passport holders need a visa to visit Mexico?
Visa-free up to 180 days (FMM tourist card). One of Korea's longest visa-free privileges in the Americas. Korean ordinary passport holders enter Mexico visa-free for up to 180 days per entry — one of the longest visa-free privileges Mexico grants, based on reciprocity with Mexico's similarly generous arrangement for Mexican citizens to Korea. The exemption covers tourism, business meetings, family visits, and transit. All visitors receive a Forma Migratoria Múltiple (FMM) tourist card on arrival, either as a paper form (land borders) or stamped directly into the passport (most international airports since 2022). The duration written on the FMM is decided by the INM officer at the port of entry — though 180 days is the maximum, some travellers receive shorter durations (30-90 days). For work, study, journalism, or stays beyond 180 days the corresponding Mexican visa is required at the embassy in Seoul. Mexico is increasingly popular among Korean long-term tourists, especially Mexico City, Cancún, and Tulum.
