South Korea to Lithuania visa requirements

South Korean ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist stays in Lithuania. Lithuania is in the Schengen Area, and South Korea benefits from the EU/Schengen visa waiver: you may stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period across the whole Schengen Area. ETIAS travel authorization is not yet required as of June 2026 (it launches in Q4 2026 and becomes mandatory in 2027). Lithuania is a member of both the European Union and the Schengen Area. Nationals of the Republic of Korea (South Korea) holding an ordinary passport are exempt from the Schengen short-stay visa for tourism, business, family visits and transit. The visa-free entitlement covers stays of up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period, and this 90/180 quota is shared across ALL Schengen countries combined, not per country, so days spent in any other Schengen state (France, Germany, Italy, etc.) count toward the same limit. At the border, Korean travelers must satisfy standard Schengen entry conditions: a passport issued within the previous 10 years and valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended departure date from the Schengen Area, with at least two blank pages, plus possible proof of accommodation, onward/return tickets, sufficient funds and travel medical insurance. The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) is scheduled to begin operations in the last quarter of 2026 and to become mandatory for visa-exempt nationals (including South Koreans) in 2027; until then, no pre-travel online authorization is required. The separate Entry/Exit System (EES) is a biometric border-registration system and is not a visa. As of 2026-06-01 the correct classification for a short tourist stay is visa-free.
