South Korea to Lebanon visa requirements

South Korean ordinary passport holders receive a FREE visa on arrival in Lebanon, valid for a one-month tourist stay (extendable up to three months). No visa needs to be arranged in advance. As of 2026, holders of an ordinary South Korean (Republic of Korea) passport are granted a free visa on arrival at Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport and other official ports of entry. The visa is issued at no cost for a maximum initial stay of one month, extendable for up to two additional months (three months total) through the General Directorate of General Security. To qualify, travelers must present a passport valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay with at least two blank pages, a non-refundable return or onward (circle-trip) ticket, and a Lebanese address and telephone number (typically a hotel reservation). A critical and strictly enforced rule: any Israeli stamp, visa, or seal in the passport, or evidence of prior travel to Israel, results in refused entry and possible detention. Lebanon is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. While the airport-charged tourist visa carries a USD fee for many nationalities, South Korea specifically appears on Lebanon's free-of-charge visa-on-arrival list per the official General Security directorate.
