Travelers who want to stay longer than 30 days, need multiple entries, or plan to visit the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO) should use the official e-visa portal at evisa.tj: a single-entry tourist e-visa costs about USD 30 and allows up to 60 days within a 90-day window, with an optional GBAO permit for an extra USD 20. The GBAO permit is mandatory for the Pamir region regardless of visa-free status, so overland Pamir Highway travelers must obtain it (via the e-visa add-on or locally). Entry is permitted at international airports and land borders. Note that Tajikistan is in Central Asia and is not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen/ETIAS rules do not apply.
