Italy to Venezuela visa requirements

No visa required. Italian ordinary passport holders may enter Venezuela visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days. Italian ordinary passport holders do not need a visa to visit Venezuela for tourism or short stays. Entry is granted visa-free for up to 90 days, and the Italian Foreign Ministry (Viaggiare Sicuri) notes this period can generally be extended for a further 3 months while in-country. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry, and travelers must complete the customs declaration and health/immigration forms on arrival. A return or onward ticket and proof of sufficient funds may be requested at the border. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is recommended (and may be required if arriving from or transiting an endemic area). Important: the Italian Foreign Ministry currently advises against all travel to Venezuela except for cases of absolute necessity, citing the general security situation and the risk of arbitrary detention. Overstaying the authorized period leads to administrative fines and a 2-year re-entry ban. Italian-Venezuelan dual nationals must enter and exit using their Venezuelan documents.
