Italy to Paraguay visa requirements

Italian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Paraguay. They may enter visa-free and stay up to 90 days, simply presenting a valid passport at immigration. As an Italian (EU) ordinary passport holder, you can travel to Paraguay for tourism without a visa. Paraguay grants visa-free entry of up to 90 days to citizens of all European Union member states, including Italy. There is no eVisa, ETA, or visa-on-arrival fee to pay for short tourist stays. At the port of entry the Dirección General de Migraciones will check your passport, stamp it for the permitted stay, and may collect biometric data (fingerprints/photo). Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry and have at least two blank pages. Immigration may ask for proof of onward or return travel, evidence of sufficient funds, and accommodation details. The 90-day permit can be extended once for an additional 90 days at a Migraciones office before it expires. Note: ETIAS is the European travel authorization for non-EU visitors entering the Schengen Area and does not apply to Italian citizens; Paraguay is in South America and has no equivalent system.
