Italy to Haiti visa requirements

Italian passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit Haiti for tourism. They can enter visa-free for up to 90 days, paying a US$10 tourist fee on arrival. Italy ordinary passport holders enjoy visa-free entry to Haiti for tourism and short visits. Haiti exempts nationals of most countries — including all EU member states — from visa requirements, allowing a stay of up to 90 days (3 months). No advance application, eVisa, or pre-approval is required. On arrival, every non-Haitian traveler pays a tourist fee of US$10. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival. Haiti is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route. Travelers should note that Haiti has faced significant security instability; while this does not change the visa rule, many foreign ministries (including Italy's Farnesina) advise against travel — check the latest advisory before booking. For stays longer than 90 days, or for work/study/residence, a visa must be obtained in advance from a Haitian embassy or consulate.
