🇮🇹Italy🇭🇰Hong Kong (SAR China)IT-HK Italy to Hong Kong (SAR China) visa requirements
Italian ordinary passport holders can visit Hong Kong visa-free for up to 90 days for tourism. No advance application is required. Holders of an ordinary Italian (EU) passport do not need a visa to enter Hong Kong for tourism or short visits. As an EU national, an Italian citizen is granted visa-free entry for a stay of up to 90 days. There is no online registration, eVisa, or ETA system for Hong Kong visitors — entry is granted at the border upon presentation of a valid passport. You must hold a passport valid for at least one month beyond your intended stay (six months recommended), carry proof of onward or return travel, and have adequate funds for your visit. Employment, study, residence, or establishing a business is not permitted on visa-free visitor status. Note that Hong Kong has its own immigration system separate from mainland China; a separate visa is required to travel onward to mainland China.
