Italy to Fiji visa requirements

Italian ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit Fiji for tourism. They receive a free Visitor Permit on arrival for stays of up to 4 months. Italy is on Fiji's visa-exempt list. An Italian ordinary passport holder traveling for tourism is issued a Visitor Permit on arrival, granted at the discretion of the immigration officer for up to a maximum of four months. No visa or pre-travel authorization (no eVisa, no ETA) is required, and no fee is charged on arrival. Travelers must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry, and should be ready to show a confirmed onward/return ticket and proof of sufficient funds. If a longer stay is needed, the permit can be extended once by up to two months (to a six-month maximum) for a fee of FJD 93, applied for before the original permit expires. Fiji is in the South Pacific and is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to entry into Fiji. This verdict is confirmed against the Fiji Ministry of Immigration's official visa-exempt countries list and visitor permit pages as of mid-2026.
