Israel to India visa requirements

Israeli ordinary passport holders need an Indian e-Tourist Visa (an Electronic Travel Authorization, ETA) obtained online before travel. There is no visa-free or visa-on-arrival entry for tourism. Israel is not part of India's visa-waiver or visa-on-arrival scheme, so an Israeli ordinary passport holder must obtain a visa in advance for tourism. The most convenient option is the India e-Tourist Visa, applied for online at the official Government of India portal (indianvisaonline.gov.in). On approval, an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is emailed, which the traveler prints and presents on arrival; entry must be through one of the designated airports or seaports. Three e-Tourist Visa durations are offered: 30-day single/double-entry, 1-year multiple-entry, and 5-year multiple-entry, with a maximum stay capped at 180 days per calendar year on the 1-year and 5-year variants. The passport must be valid at least six months from the date of arrival with at least two blank pages. A 30-day e-Tourist Visa costs around US$25 for most of the year (US$10 during the April-June promotional window), the 1-year visa US$40, and the 5-year visa US$80, plus a bank transaction surcharge of about 3% (4% via PayPal). Apply at least 4 days before travel; processing usually completes within about 72 hours. Always use only the official .gov.in portal, as numerous fraudulent look-alike sites exist.
