Israel to Croatia visa requirements

Israeli ordinary passport holders can travel to Croatia visa-free for tourism, staying up to 90 days in any 180-day period across the Schengen area. Croatia is a member of both the European Union and the Schengen Area (it joined Schengen on 1 January 2023). Israel is on the EU list of visa-exempt third countries, and the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs explicitly confirms that holders of an Israeli ordinary passport do NOT require a visa for short stays. Travelers may stay up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period across the entire Schengen Area combined (not 90 days per country). The passport must be valid for at least three months beyond the intended date of departure from the Schengen Area and must have been issued within the previous 10 years. No advance authorization is currently required as of June 2026. The EU's ETIAS travel authorization (a pre-travel online registration for visa-exempt nationals, including Israelis) is expected to become mandatory in the last quarter of 2026, launching roughly six months after the Entry/Exit System (EES). Until ETIAS goes live and its grace period ends, Israeli citizens simply present a valid passport on arrival. Border officers may still ask for proof of onward travel, accommodation, sufficient funds, and travel medical insurance.
