Israel to Ghana visa requirements

Israeli passport holders need a visa for Ghana. Since the May 2026 launch of Ghana's nationwide eVisa portal, the standard route is an online tourist eVisa (or an embassy visa via the Ghana Embassy in Tel Aviv). Israel is not on any visa-free or visa-on-arrival list. A holder of an ordinary Israeli passport requires a visa to enter Ghana for tourism; there is no visa-free or visa-on-arrival channel for Israeli nationals. Ghana's visa-exempt list covers only ECOWAS and African Union states, a handful of Caribbean and Southern/Eastern African countries, and certain diplomatic/service passport holders, none of which include Israel. On 25 May 2026 Ghana launched its official nationwide electronic visa platform at evisa.immigration.gov.gh, operated by the Ghana Immigration Service with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, accepting applications from 190+ countries. Israeli applicants can obtain a tourist eVisa online or apply through the Ghana Embassy in Tel Aviv, which routes applications through an online portal (ecimsglobal.com). The current single-entry tourist visa fee is about USD 260, and multiple-entry is about USD 468; standard processing is up to 96 hours (about 72 hours for some nationalities), with an express option. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is a mandatory entry requirement, and the passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay with proof of onward/return travel. Tourist stays are typically 30 to 90 days. The May 2026 African Union / ECOWAS visa-fee waiver does not apply to Israeli nationals.
