Israel to Belarus visa requirements

Israeli ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for Belarus. Under the Belarus-Israel mutual visa-waiver agreement (in force since 26 November 2015), they may enter visa-free for tourism or business for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Israel and Belarus have a bilateral visa-waiver agreement that entered into force on 26 November 2015. Holders of ordinary Israeli passports may travel to Belarus without a visa for tourism, business, private visits and similar short-stay purposes for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. The passport should be valid for at least six months beyond the intended departure and have at least two blank pages. Travelers must hold valid medical insurance with coverage typically of at least EUR 10,000 (about BYN 35,000), and should carry proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds. If the stay exceeds 10 days (excluding weekends and public holidays), the visitor must register with local authorities; hotels register guests automatically. Note that the visa-free regime applies to entry through any authorized border crossing, but travelers should be aware that entering Belarus overland from Russia is generally not permitted for foreigners at the Belarus-Russia border (no international checkpoints), so flying into Minsk National Airport is the standard route. Belarus is NOT in the Schengen area or the EU, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. The separate 30-day visa-free program via Minsk airport that existed for many nationalities is not relevant for Israelis, whose 90-day waiver is broader and applies at all entry points.
