Israel to Botswana visa requirements

No visa required. Israeli ordinary passport holders can enter Botswana visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days within any 365-day period; entry is granted with a stamp at the port of arrival. Israel is on Botswana's list of visa-exempt countries. An Israeli ordinary passport holder traveling for tourism or a short visit does not need to apply for a visa in advance and is not required to use Botswana's eVisa portal (that system serves nationals of visa-required countries). On arrival, immigration grants an entry stamp permitting a stay of up to 90 days within a rolling 365-day period. The passport must be valid for at least six months and have at least two to three blank pages. Botswana is in Southern Africa and is NOT part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Travelers may be asked to show a return/onward ticket, proof of sufficient funds, and accommodation details. There is no government fee for visa-free tourist entry. Extensions beyond the granted period can be requested in-country from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship. The visa-free channel is for tourism/visiting purposes only and does not authorize employment.
