Israel to Bangladesh visa requirements

No. Bangladesh does not recognize Israel, has no diplomatic relations with it, and refuses entry and transit to holders of Israeli passports. There is no tourist visa, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival channel available to an ordinary Israeli passport holder, so travel to Bangladesh on an Israeli passport is effectively impossible. Bangladesh is one of the countries that does not recognize the State of Israel and is part of the long-standing boycott. Its visa policy states that "entry and transit is refused to Israeli citizens." Bangladesh has no embassy or consulate in Israel and Israel has no diplomatic mission in Bangladesh, so there is no lawful route through which an Israeli ordinary passport holder can obtain a Bangladesh tourist visa. In April 2025 the interim government reinstated the "This passport is valid for all countries except Israel" inscription on Bangladeshi passports, reaffirming the mutual ban. While the verdict is recorded as "visa-required" because no visa-free, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival channel exists, in practice no visa is obtainable and admission is refused at the border. Bangladesh is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Travelers who hold a second nationality (a passport from a country Bangladesh admits) would need to use that passport instead; this guide concerns the Israeli ordinary passport only.

· Israeli passport· Entry refused

/03
Verify the alternate passport's Bangladesh visa rules
For an eligible second nationality, consult the Bangladesh online visa portal or the nearest Bangladesh mission to determine whether an eVisa, visa-on-arrival, or consular visa applies.
· Bangladesh High Commission· evisa.gov.bd
/04
Do not attempt to transit on an Israeli passport
Even airside transit is refused to Israeli passport holders. Plan any itinerary to avoid Bangladeshi airports if traveling on the Israeli document.
· No transit
/05
Seek consular advice if uncertain
Because Israel has no Bangladeshi mission, contact the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs travel advisory service before booking any trip involving Bangladesh.
· Israeli MFA
/06
Reconsider the destination
Given the firm mutual ban, consider an alternative regional destination that admits Israeli passport holders, such as India (eVisa), Nepal (visa-on-arrival), or the Maldives (visa-on-arrival).
