Hong Kong (SAR China) to Türkiye visa requirements

No visa needed. HKSAR ordinary passport holders can enter Türkiye visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Holders of an ordinary Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) passport are visa-exempt for travel to Türkiye for tourism, transit, and short trade/business visits. The Türkiye Ministry of Foreign Affairs lists HKSAR ordinary and official SAR passports as exempt from visa for stays of up to 90 days, while its general visa guidance makes the 90-days-in-any-180-days rule binding for visa exemptions. No e-Visa or sticker visa is required for eligible HKSAR ordinary passport travel. You must present a passport that meets Türkiye's validity rule on arrival: at least 60 days beyond the permitted stay, which is at least 150 days from entry for a 90-day visit; the MFA also advises having 6 months validity from arrival. British National (Overseas) BN(O) passport holders are not covered by the HKSAR passport exemption and must obtain an e-Visa via evisa.gov.tr; holders of a Hong Kong Document of Identity must obtain a visa from a Turkish mission. Border officers may also ask for proof of onward or return travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds. If you intend to stay longer, work, study, or reside, a separate visa or residence permit is required.
