🇭🇰HONG KONG🇸🇬SINGAPOREHK-SG Do Hong Kong passport holders need a visa to visit Singapore?
Hong Kong SAR ordinary passport holders can visit Singapore visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism. No visa is needed, but you must submit the free SG Arrival Card (SGAC) online within 3 days before arrival. A Hong Kong SAR ordinary passport holder does NOT need a visa to travel to Singapore for tourism or a social visit. The Consulate-General of Singapore in Hong Kong confirms that HKSAR passport holders enjoy visa-free entry for up to 30 days. The single mandatory pre-arrival step is the SG Arrival Card (SGAC), an electronic declaration submitted free of charge on the ICA website (or MyICA app) within 3 days before arrival (including the arrival day). The passport should be valid for at least 6 months. Important: this visa-free benefit applies only to the HKSAR passport — holders of the HKSAR Document of Identity (DOI) are a separate category and DO require a visa. On arrival, an Immigration officer grants the period of stay (typically up to 30 days, sometimes more at the officer's discretion). Travelers should also be ready to show proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds.
