Hong Kong (SAR China) to Morocco visa requirements

Holders of the Hong Kong SAR ordinary passport do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Morocco. They may enter visa-free for up to 30 days under a bilateral arrangement in effect since 1 October 2002. Morocco grants visa-free entry to HKSAR ordinary passport holders for tourism and short visits of up to 30 days, a bilateral arrangement that took effect on 1 October 2002 and remains current as of 2026. Morocco is in North Africa and is NOT part of the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and the EU ETIAS scheme do NOT apply. Travelers simply arrive with a valid passport and receive an entry stamp from border police. The passport should be valid for at least 3 months beyond the date of arrival (6 months is the safer practice that many airlines and officials apply). Note: some general visa-policy references cite up to 90 days for visa-exempt nationals, but the specific, officially announced channel for HKSAR passport holders is 30 days, so 30 days is the figure travelers should rely on. For stays longer than 30 days, a visa or an extension obtained from a Moroccan police station is required.
