Hong Kong SAR ordinary passport holders can visit the UAE visa-free for up to 30 days. No advance application is needed; entry is granted on arrival free of charge. As of 15 May 2025, holders of a Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) ordinary passport enjoy visa-free access to the United Arab Emirates for tourism and short visits of up to 30 days. UAE MOFA's Hong Kong mission describes the border grant as a 30-day visit visa on arrival, with no advance application required. Travelers should carry a passport valid for at least six months and a valid return or onward ticket. If a longer stay is needed, apply for an extension through the relevant UAE immigration authority before the 30-day period expires; extensions are chargeable and subject to approval.
