United Kingdom to Venezuela visa requirements

UK ordinary passport holders do not need a visa for short tourist visits to Venezuela arriving by air. You receive a free tourist card on arrival valid for up to 90 days. Note: the UK FCDO advises against all travel to Venezuela. British citizens holding an ordinary passport can travel to Venezuela for tourism without obtaining a visa in advance when arriving by air. On arrival, the airline or immigration desk issues a free tourist card (tarjeta de ingreso) that permits a stay of up to 90 days, extendable once for a further 90 days at a SAIME immigration office inside Venezuela. The passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the intended departure date, and travellers must show a return or onward ticket. Visa-free entry applies to arrival by air; those entering overland or by sea (other than cruise) generally need a visa arranged in advance through a Venezuelan consulate. Critically, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) advises against all travel to Venezuela due to the risk of violent crime, arbitrary detention, civil unrest, and shortages of food, water, medicine and fuel. Travelling against FCDO advice can invalidate travel insurance.
