Do United Kingdom passport holders need a visa to visit TT?

No visa needed. British citizens with an ordinary passport can visit Trinidad and Tobago visa-free for up to 90 days, but must complete the mandatory free online Arrival Card before travelling. Holders of an ordinary United Kingdom passport do not need a visa for tourism or short visits to Trinidad and Tobago. They are granted visa-free entry for a stay of up to 90 days, determined by the immigration officer at the port of entry. Travellers must hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond the arrival date, and should present a return or onward ticket plus evidence of sufficient funds for the stay. Since 17 March 2026, every traveller (including visa-free visitors) must complete Trinidad and Tobago's mandatory online Arrival/Departure Card on the official portal travel.gov.tt before travelling. The card is free, can be submitted up to 72 hours before departure, and generates a QR-code receipt that must be presented to immigration and customs officers on arrival and departure. The 90-day stay can be extended by applying to the local Immigration Division. This is not a visa or eVisa; it is an electronic arrival declaration that replaced the old paper disembarkation card.
