Do United Kingdom passport holders need a visa to visit SR?

UK ordinary passport holders do not need a traditional visa for tourism in Suriname, but they MUST obtain an electronic e-Tourist Card (entry fee) online before travelling. It is purchased via the official VFS Global e-Visa portal and is required to board the flight. British (GB) ordinary passport holders are visa-exempt for short tourist visits to Suriname, but Suriname is not strictly visa-free for the UK: a mandatory electronic e-Tourist Card (also called the Entry Fee) must be obtained and paid for online before departure. This functions as an electronic travel authorisation / eVisa. A single-entry e-Tourist Card is typically around USD 25 and a multiple-entry card around USD 54; the card permits a stay of up to 90 days. Travellers must also complete the separate, free online Immigration and Customs Form (ICF) before both arrival and departure. The passport should be valid for at least 6 months from arrival with at least one blank page. A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required only if arriving from a country with transmission risk. Suriname is in South America and is NOT in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Airlines verify the e-Tourist Card at check-in, so it must be secured at least 72 hours before travel.
